About the role
This is an opportunity to consolidate or gain experience consistent with the stage of training and competency, recognising that each unit offers sub-specialty skills and training as well as general training. Provision of high-quality care to Urology patients of Grampians Health under the direction of the Unit Consultants. Postgraduate training and experience at registrar level.

  • Case Presentations
  • Journal Club
  • Morbidity and Mortality Meetings
  • Grand Rounds
  • e-Learning

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inpatient management of all relevant patients of the Urology Unit
  • Ward rounds for urology patients and participation in management plan development
  • Clinical handovers
  • Attendance at Operating Theatre sessions
  • Liaise with all staff involved in the care of the patient

 

Skills and experience

  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Current registration to practice with the Australian Medical Board
  • Clinical experience consistent with stage of career.
  • Experience in self-management and organisation of work to achieve agreed outcomes
