State-wide Equipment Program (SWEP) – Administration Officer
Permanent Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight
About the Role
Join a rewarding program that supports Victorians with long-term disabilities and those who are frail aged. You'll play a vital role processing funding applications and helping consumers access the equipment and aids they need to stay safe and independent. Flexible hybrid work arrangements available following training.
- Support a state-wide health subsidy program
- Process funding requests and eligibility checks
- Manage incoming calls and emails
- Liaise with clinicians, consumers and suppliers
- Work across multiple programs within SWEP
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process applications accurately and on time
- Provide administrative support across program streams
- Enter and manage data in internal systems
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries professionally
- Deliver high-level customer service
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Skills & Experience
- Strong IT and database skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in administration and customer service
- High-level communication and teamwork skills
- Empathy for aged and disabled individuals
- Adaptable and proactive under pressure
