Permanent Full Time | 80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO

 

About the Role

This senior pharmacist leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate cancer pharmacy services across Grampians Health. Based at the Ballarat Campus, the Cancer Pharmacy Services Coordinator plays a key role in delivering high quality, patient centred pharmacy care across the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC), Wimmera Cancer Centre, and Stawell Oncology Centre. 

 

This role combines strategic planning with hands on service co-ordination, allowing you to influence innovation, clinical governance, and workforce development. With regional reach and meaningful impact, this position is ideal for a pharmacist looking to step into a high impact leadership role within a dynamic and supportive health service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the cancer pharmacy services team
  • Oversee daily operations at BRICC, Wimmera and Stawell Oncology
  • Contribute to service planning and cancer integration strategy
  • Ensure quality, safety, and risk management standards are met
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent pharmacy services on key committees and forums

 

Skills & Experience

  • Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA
  • Proven leadership in hospital or cancer pharmacy services
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and public health systems
