About the Role
Grampians Health is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join us as a Care Community Manager (Nurse Unit Manager) at Talbot Place Residential Aged Care Community. This leadership position offers an opportunity to manage a dedicated team, provide operational leadership, and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care. You will be responsible for budgeting, resource management, rostering, and professional development, making a real impact on the delivery of care at Talbot Place.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team providing resident centered care in a 30 bed facility
• Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance
• Ensure the delivery of quality nursing care based on contemporary practice
• Lead staff training, development, and performance management
• Oversee compliance with quality systems and accreditation standards
• Foster a positive, engaged workplace culture
Skills & Experience
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Postgraduate qualification in management or Aged Care nursing (desirable)
• Experience in care community management and leadership
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and Aged Care standards
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
