About the Role
Grampians Health are seeking an innovative Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator to join our growing Allied Health Education team on a permanent part-time basis. The role will focus on developing and coordinating best practice education opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the current and future Occupational Therapy workforce in the region.
Key Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator will work with the Allied Health Education team to:
- Identify learning and training needs of the Occupational Therapy department
- Develop best practice structured learning curriculum to meet the needs of the current and future Occupational Therapy workforce
- Undertake research and quality improvement processes to contribute to best practice allied health education across Grampians Health
- Lead the education portfolio within the Occupational Therapy discipline
Skills & Experience
- Current AHPRA registration and meet the Grampians Health Allied Health Credentialing requirements for Occupational Therapy
- Experience in the healthcare sector in education delivery
- Completion of or active planning for further training in education
- Experience in quality improvement projects and change management
- Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders from different professional backgrounds
