About the Role
The Grampians Regional Continence Service is a multidisciplinary team of health professionals who provide comprehensive assessments, advice, education and management support for clients across the Grampians Region who are experiencing any type of bladder or bowel problems.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant in collaboration with the continence team provides, person centred, evidence based, specialised continence care to clients, NDIS Participants and Carers in the community
The Grampians Regional Continence Service is ideally looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about client centred care and demonstrates advanced skills and expertise in the specialty area of continence
Key responsibilities
- Undertake Comprehensive assessment, care planning and treatment for outpatients (paediatric/adults), Residential Aged Care clients and NDIS Participants
- Undertake Clinical Procedures within scope of practice
- Provide education, advice and information to clients, carers and NDIS participants to promote positive attitudes towards continence management.
- Provide consultancy, clinical support and leadership to the health care team at Grampians health to ensure optimal outcomes for clients who have continence issues
Skills and experience
- Registered Nurse with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Post-graduate qualification relevant to the specialty area of continence.
- 2 years’ experience working within the specialty area of continence
- Paediatric experience (Highly desirable)
- Valid NDIS worker screening check
- Current drivers Licence

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Clinical Nurse Consultant (ZF4-ZJ4) which ranges from $59.08 - $62.20 per hour.
