$32.74 to $46.62 per hour + salary packaging | Dietitian - Grade 1

Full time, 80 hours per fortnight including a monthly ADO | Fixed term (2 years) Graduate Dietitian position until 2027!

 

About the Role

Join our enthusiastic and supportive dietetics team and gain hands-on clinical experience in a diverse and dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across various workloads. The Dietetics Department at Grampians Health consists of approximately 30 EFT Dietitians across the Grampians Health Sites. This position is an exciting opportunity to join the Dietetics’ team within Ballarat. We provide care across the continuum, including acute, subacute, community and residential care settings. We are committed to providing evidenced based, patient centred care. 

 

With regional service provision, opportunities exist to build skill, knowledge and experience. We work as one department and have a supportive, friendly environment. Our work includes clinical services, research, quality and improvement, food service, meal support and student education. We pride ourselves on having established Clinical Supervision and a commitment to continuous professional development.  

 

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a range of multi-disciplinary teams
• Provide clinical dietetics services to inpatients and outpatients
• Participate in performance development, supervision, and quality improvement activities

• Be able to self-reflect and continue to build on skills and capacity

• Contribute to service development and strategic planning

• Participate in clinical research and evidence-based practice
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk management, and quality improvement standards

 

Skills & Experience

• Eligible for Dietitians Australia registration and APD status
• Strong knowledge of clinical dietetics, including assessment and treatment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
