Registered Enrolled Nurse - Specialist Clinics EEN Level 2

Part Time fixed term position

32 hours per fortnight 

 

About the Role

Join our dynamic Specialist Outpatient Clinics team in Ballarat! In this fast-paced role, you’ll plan, implement, and evaluate evidence based nursing care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient centred healthcare. This role also promotes nursing leadership, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of care within the Directorate.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high standards of care by collaborating with patients, carers, and the community in all aspects of healthcare planning and delivery.
  • Advocate for patients' rights in line with the "Charter of Healthcare Rights" and "Charter of Residents’ Rights and Responsibilities."
  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager and nursing team in evaluating and implementing evidence-based clinical care.
  • Focusing on patient centred, sustainable, and cost-effective care models.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills in both medical and surgical streams
  • A minimum of 3 years post registration experience
  • Established solid working knowledge of wound care and delivery. 
  • Demonstrated organisational skills particularly with respect to time management

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Enrolled Nurse Grade 2 (IB68 - IB72) which ranges from $36.59 - $38.93 per hour.
