Permanent Part-Time | 40 hours per fortnight | Starting September 2025 (flexible start date available)

Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a passionate and experienced Aquatic Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This permanent, part-time role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality aquatic therapy services to outpatient, paediatric, and inpatient rehabilitation clients.
In addition to clinical care, the role includes leadership responsibilities such as supervision, coordination of professional development, and service development to ensure contemporary clinical excellence across our aquatic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert-level aquatic therapy across diverse client groups.
- Oversee pool water quality, plant room operations, and facility management.

- Lead service development initiatives including evaluation, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
- Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and management levels.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications
- Registered as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
- A minimum of seven years’ experience, including significant experience and preferably a post-graduate qualification in the relevant clinical area of practice
- Advanced knowledge of assessment treatment and management options for a broad range of clients requiring Aquatic Therapy (preferably completed Level 3 Aquatic course, or be willing to undertake this)
- Advanced knowledge in the relevant legislation, water quality and plant room management (preferably completed Aquatic Technical Operator course, or be willing to undertake this)
- Demonstrated ability to identify, implement and review quality improvement activities, and positively influence change as required
