$43.67 to $56.72 per hour + salary packaging | Mental Health Clinician - Intensive Outreach Team (All Disciplines welcome)

Fixed term opportunity - 80 Hours per fortnight with monthly ADO | Fixed Term Full Time (until mid 2026) (part time/job share applicant considered)

About the Role

An opportunity exists for a motivated Mental Health Clinician (RPN3, P2, SW2, OT2) to undertake an ongoing position in the Community Mental Health Intensive Outreach team. Grampians Health – Mental Health and Wellbeing Service is a dynamic Area Mental Health Service striving to provide the highest standards of treatment for the City of Ballarat and local surrounding communities, while maintaining a commitment to a continuously improving clinical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of an innovative, person-centered mental health service.
  • Provide clinical support and treatment for adults (18-64 years) with various mental health disorders.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, supervision, and skill-building opportunities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health care.
  • Engage with patients and their families, ensuring the delivery of contemporary, evidence-based treatments.
  • Support the continuous improvement and reform of mental health services within the organisation.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in mental health treatment for adults.
  • Experience working with a wide range of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
  • Ability to contribute to service improvement and reform initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and evolving service environment.
