Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
16 hours Permanent Part Time - with opportunity to extra shifts as available 

 

About the role
 

An exciting opportunity to join a diverse multidisciplinary team on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has become available. If you are interested in joining our dynamic team as a Food and Domestic Services Assistant and have all the qualities in providing excellent service to our consumers at Grampians Health now is your chance to take a permanent role at IRP.

 

With 16 permanent contracted hours, there is also opportunity for extra shifts and leave cover. There will also be opportunity to learn and cover Ward Assistant shifts and responsibilities to the interested candidate.

 

Must have a Food Safety Handling Certificate, be motivated and enthusiastic in providing high quality consumer focused service and willing to commit to rotating rosters across a variation of shifts

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily preparation and delivering meals and drinks to 30 patients in a inpatient setting
  • Routine and scheduled cleaning of the ward area and patient rooms
  • knowledge of ordering systems within Grampians Health an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of Food Act and Food Handling Responsibilities.

 

Skills and experience

  • Food Handling Certificate (HLTFS207C - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices).
  • Previous experience an advantage given the hours available
  • Ability to work as a team and individual efficiently.
