Program Assistant PAG - Midlands

$31.65 per hour plus salary packaging | Program Assistant – Planned Activity Groups (PAG)

Permanent part time opportunity available (7 days a fortnight x 2 positions)

 

About the Role
Join our enthusiastic Planned Activity Groups team and support adults in our community to stay socially connected and independent. Based across Midlands and Eyres House in Ballarat North and Soldiers Hill, this role delivers meaningful activities and respite care on weekdays and weekends. You’ll be part of a supportive, hands-on team providing safe transport, social programs, meals, and personal care in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual and group social activities

  • Assist with personal care and medication under guidelines

  • Support meal preparation and safe food handling

  • Transport clients using PAG bus (where applicable)

  • Contribute to intake, care planning, and documentation

 

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support

  • CPR certification and Food Safety (HLTFSE001)

  • Medication and dementia care competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills

  • Current Victorian driver’s licence

Desirable:

  • Experience in aged care, disability, or dementia support

  • Familiarity with PAG services and aged care sector

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

  • Commitment to inclusive, team-based care
