About the Role
Grampians Health’s Capital Projects Team is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager (Planning) to join our dynamic team. This role provides leadership, professional expertise, and end-to-end project management for capital infrastructure projects across Grampians Health. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope and budget, while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of capital infrastructure projects, from planning and design through to delivery.
  • Conduct research, engage stakeholders, manage consultants and contracts, and oversee project resourcing, scheduling, and budget control.
  • Manage procurement processes and ensure effective contract administration.
  • Actively participate in project meetings and reporting to ensure optimal outcomes for Grampians Health.

 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction/Project Management, Engineering, or a relevant trade background.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams including consultants, technical staff, contractors, and tradespeople.
  • Experience in healthcare infrastructure is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
