About the role

Grampians Health, Ballarat campus is seeking a dynamic, energetic Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse to work in the Day Procedure and Endoscopy Unit. 
 
If you have exceptional clinical skills in surgical nursing, a commitment to quality and are a driven leader this is the position for you. 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery to our clients and their families within the Day Procedure Unit. 
  • Being part of a team that values Leadership and Excellence in Healthcare you will work in first class facilities that maximises care, compassion, individual choice and quality outcomes for all clients and patients. 
  • Day Procedure Unit operates from 0645 to 2100 hours with shifts of 8 hours duration, from Monday to Friday.  Day Procedure admits endoscopy and elective surgery patients from various specialties for both day and multi-stay surgery and provides recovery and discharge for patients post day and endoscopy procedures. 

  

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have background surgical nursing and an interest in Endoscopy procedures and be able to work variable shifts in the Day Procedure area from Monday to Friday.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Enrolled Nurse Grade 2 (IB68 - IB72) which ranges from $35.52 - $37.80 per hour.

 

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $40.15 - $50.68 per hour.
