Permanent Full Time | Psychologist Grade 3, Speech Pathologist Grade 3

 

About the Role
This senior position offers an exciting opportunity to lead innovative and recovery focused mental health care for young people aged 0 to 25. The role involves clinical leadership of the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment Clinic, supporting the coordination of referrals, assessments and interventions, while collaborating with families and key community services. You will also provide discipline specific supervision, shape service development, and contribute to a responsive and integrated mental health system.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Coordinate the ASD referral and diagnostic process
• Manage a caseload with evidence based, recovery focused care
• Deliver quality clinical reports and treatment plans
• Supervise staff and students within your discipline
• Collaborate across agencies to streamline ASD service delivery

 

Skills & Experience
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant mental health discipline
• Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body
• Skilled in biopsychosocial and ASD assessments
• Strong clinical report writing and formulation ability
• Experience providing clinical supervision
