Speech Pathologist - Grade 3 Paediatric

Fixed-term Part Time (63 hours per fortnight)  

 

About the Role 

Grampians Health is calling for passionate Senior Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic Speech Pathology team in short term capacity. As the Grade 3 Speech Pathologist you will be responsible for a paediatric caseload across a variety of programs, including acute inpatients and community programs. Paediatric feeding experience is preferential for this role, but not essential. You will be covering long-service leave from 23/6/2025- 10/10/2025 (or equivalent depending on start date), with a period of cross-over and handover included.

Key Selection Criteria  

Qualifications

  • Practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current drivers licence

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • A minimum of seven years’ experience, including significant experience in working with children and their families/carers in the acute and community care setting and preferably a post-graduate qualification in the relevant clinical area of practice
  • Advanced knowledge of assessment treatment and management options for children with swallowing and communication difficulties and a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, implement and review quality improvement activities, and positively influence change as required
