About the Role

Grampians Health Public Dental is offering an opportunity to join the Dental Team in Horsham. We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient focused, detail orientated dental assistant or trainee. You will be an important part of a hardworking, supportive, patient focused team. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing dentists and oral health therapists with chairside support in the clinic
  • Maintaining and operating dental surgery equipment
  • Educating patients on the importance of oral health
  • Performing hygiene, sterilisation and infection control procedures

Skills and experience:

  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Qualified applicants - Certificate III in Dental Assisting
  • Traineeship applicants - a love of learning & commitment to study
  • Driver’s licence would be advantageous
