Long Service Leave replacement | Medical Receptionist - Horsham

Fixed Term Full Time (80 hours + monthly ADO) from mid April 2025 until mid September 2025

 

About the Role

Conduct medical receptionist duties in Alan Wolff Medical Centre. The receptionist provides all duties related to working in a general/specialist practice including making appointments, liaising with patients, providing accounts, banking, scanning, maintaining supplies and all general reception and other administrative duties as required.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming phone calls, deals with enquiries and makes appointments for all doctors.
  • Registers patient arrivals and direct them to the waiting room.
  • Scan incoming documents into patient files.
  • Call or send SMS text to the next day’s patients to confirm their attendance.

Skills & Experience

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pleasant and courteous telephone manner
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. 
  • Demonstrated advanced computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to be trained in the specific programs required.
