Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight including a monthly ADO
About the Role
As a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist at Grampians Health Horsham, you will provide comprehensive clinical services across various settings, including Acute Inpatients, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatients, and Community Programs. You will supervise Grade 1 team members and Allied Health Assistants, contribute to undergraduate student placements, and help implement quality improvement programs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, evidence based care while enhancing your professional development in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services across a broad caseload, including acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation, and community-based clients
- Lead and supervise junior staff, Allied Health Assistants, and undergraduate students
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation, meeting all communication and documentation standards
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and group programs
- Contribute to quality improvement and performance development activities
- Develop care plans in collaboration with clients and carers, ensuring individual needs are met
- Ensure compliance with National Standards and all Grampians Health policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA registration and Victorian Driver's Licence
- Sound experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff and students
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
