$44.77 to $51.46 per hour + salary packaging | Occupational Therapist - Grade 2

Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight including a monthly ADO

About the Role
As a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist at Grampians Health Horsham, you will provide comprehensive clinical services across various settings, including Acute Inpatients, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatients, and Community Programs. You will supervise Grade 1 team members and Allied Health Assistants, contribute to undergraduate student placements, and help implement quality improvement programs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, evidence based care while enhancing your professional development in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services across a broad caseload, including acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation, and community-based clients
• Lead and supervise junior staff, Allied Health Assistants, and undergraduate students
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, meeting all communication and documentation standards
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and group programs
• Contribute to quality improvement and performance development activities
• Develop care plans in collaboration with clients and carers, ensuring individual needs are met
• Ensure compliance with National Standards and all Grampians Health policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration and Victorian Driver's Licence
• Sound experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff and students
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
