Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery
- Assist with workforce planning, rostering, and resource management
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and risk management protocols
- Support succession planning and career development within the nursing team
Skills & Experience
- Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Leadership skills with a strong understanding of ANUM responsibilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and support a positive team culture
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Nurse Unit Manager (YW11 – YW12) which ranges from $56.76 - $58.67 per hour.
