About the Role
We’re welcoming applications from individuals who are adaptable and ready to make a meaningful contribution to our team.

Our Administration Assistants provide onsite support across a variety of non-clinical areas.  In this casual role, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth and efficient functioning of the department you’re assigned to.

To support our coverage needs, you’ll be available at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.  As this is a casual role, shifts are not guaranteed and workdays may change between assignments.

To be considered for this role, you must be living in the Ballarat region.


Application Requirements:

  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees: 1 being your current direct manager and the other(s) an additional manager or supervisor


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a high standard of administrative support
  • Accurate data entry into required software systems
  • Maintain accurate availability and accepting shifts based on availability
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of locations and shift times
  • Participate in annual performance reviews
  • Commitment to ongoing mandatory education


What We’re Looking for:

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative and respectful approach
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Proficient in computer use with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Demonstrated person centred care and respectful approach to patients, visitors and staff
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
  • Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
