Permanent Part Time on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday: 8.30am – 5.00pm)

About the Role

Join the Grampians Mental Health & Wellbeing Service as an Administrative Services Officer supporting our inpatient units in Ballarat. This key front-line role provides quality reception and administrative support to patients, visitors, and clinical teams each weekend.

 

You will deliver efficient and accurate administrative services, respond to a range of enquiries, and maintain data and office systems while contributing to a professional, organised, and positive workplace dedicated to excellence in mental health care.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide reception and administrative support to inpatient units
• Manage confidential and sensitive enquiries
• Prepare and type medical correspondence and documentation
• Maintain information systems and records accurately
• Assist with data entry and general administrative tasks
• Work collaboratively with nursing and clinical staff

 

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Flexibility and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience in healthcare or mental health administration desirable
