About the role
Grampians Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administration Services Officer to join our service. Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Administration Manager, this position will be responsible for providing all aspects of administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the mental health teams they support, and maintaining a high standard of service provision.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have 3 years administration experience, coupled with outstanding customer service skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and a responsive disposition.
You will be flexible in adapting to an often-changing environment as per service needs. In addition, you will be comfortable learning new systems and be well organised with the ability to determine competing priorities to meet timelines. The position may also be requested to backfill administration leave.
You will have proven experience in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Your role will include (but is not limited to) attending to a broad range of internal and external confidential and sensitive enquiries, via phone and face-to-face, ensuring that appropriate and timely follow up action is taken; typing; data entry; maintaining, updating, and training for office and information management systems and procedures, and general administrative duties as required.
Experience working in a mental health or medical health setting would be highly desirable but not essential.
