Fixed Term Part Time until April 2027 | 32 hours per week 

 

About the Role

This senior nursing role offers the opportunity to lead clinical practice, support workforce development, and influence high-quality mental health care across community teams. You will use advanced clinical expertise to guide staff, improve service delivery, and embed recovery-oriented, person-centred care. Based in Ballarat, this role includes collaboration across teams and occasional regional travel while contributing to education, mentorship, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Team Leaders to improve clinical services
• Deliver staff education on recovery-oriented care
• Provide clinical leadership across community teams
• Develop and implement policies and best practice models
• Support student, graduate and postgraduate nurses
• Lead quality improvement and research activities

 

Skills & Experience

• Current AHPRA registration
• Mental health clinical experience, community focus
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
• Skilled in training delivery and resource development
• Postgraduate qualification (desirable)
