About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for motivated Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists to join our experienced Psychology team across various programs within the Allied Health department including the acute and subacute medical wards as well as an exciting new opportunity to join a skilled allied health team providing services to the Grampians Health Aged Care Communities.
Support the Director of Psychology to enhance team building and excellence and provide a leadership role within the Psychology team, and Allied Health directorate.

Key Responsibilities
- Provision of psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment and intervention for Grampians Health clients in a range of inpatient and outpatient services
- Participate and fulfil requirements of allied health and discipline specific orientation, induction, mentorship, supervision and performance management programs
- Provide a leadership role within the department and Allied Health team
- Assist the Director of Psychology in the completion of performance management activities
- Actively participate in strategic planning, staff meetings, service development and other relevant forums
Skills & Experience
- Full registration under the Psychology Board of Australia with endorsement in the area of practice of Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
Psychologists eligible for or are undertaking a Registrar Program toward endorsement are also encouraged to apply (Grade 2).
- Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)-approved postgraduate course in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
- For Grade 3 applicants: eligible for, or currently hold, approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia, and demonstrate capacity to provide clinical supervision to early career psychologists and registrars.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with people at all levels
- A commitment to person-centred care
- Excellent knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis and intervention
- Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills
