About the role:

Grampians Health Is seeking an The Cyber Security Engagement Officer to join the Digital Health Team. This role plays a pivotal role in fostering a strong cyber security culture across Grampians Health. This position will lead the delivery of the Cybersecurity Awareness Program, build and support the Cyber Security Champion network, and ensures alignment with the Cyber Security Strategy, Health Sector Cybersecurity Maturity Framework requirements, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation priorities. The role combines stakeholder engagement, training development, content curation, and data-driven campaign planning to build cyber resilience across clinical and non-clinical teams.

 

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Communications, Education, or related field.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity, project/change management (e.g., SSAP, PRINCE2, Agile, Prosci) are desirable.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity awareness, training, or engagement roles.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and internal communications.
  • Experience with phishing simulation tools, LMS platforms, and GRC systems.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
