Desktop Support Technician
Ballarat Central, VIC, AU, 3350
Fixed-Term Full-Time until 31 August 2027
80 hours per fortnight + Monthly ADO | HS3 ($37.68 to $41.65 per hour)
About the Role
Join our dynamic IT team at Grampians Health as a Desktop Support Technician, where no two days are the same. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and maintaining a wide range of devices—from laptops and desktops to tablets, printers, and phones. You’ll provide friendly and efficient support to our staff, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance on desktop and email tools. You will package software in a microsoft intune environment for Windows, IOS and Android devices ensuring applications are up to date + You'll also have the opportunity to work alongside system administrators to shape and support our standard desktop environment. Key Responsibilities
- Ability to work remotely if required.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively in a team environment
- Ensuring that the customer perspective is a driving force behind business decisions and activities.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary Degree in Computer Science, relevant Microsoft certifications, or demonstrable industry experience equivalent to the above.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune packaging is highly desirable.
- Strong Troubleshooting & Analytical skills
- Experience in Endpoint and Mobile Device Management
- Experience in managing printers, phones, and unified communication platforms
