Permanent Full Time | 40 hours per week including a monthly ADO available in our enthusiastic and innovative team!

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dietitian to join our Dietetics team at Grampians Health Ballarat in a senior clinical role with leadership responsibility. This position delivers evidence-based dietetic care in Acute Services and Outpatients, while supporting service development, supervision and quality improvement within a multi-site team. 

 

The successful candidate ideally has experience in Eating Disorder or is open to upskill in this area. This role offers leadership opportunities and a supportive environment for professional growth in a large dietetics team with approximately 30 EFT across the Grampians Health sites.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert, patient centered, evidence based clinical dietetic care

  • Provide clinical leadership within the dietetics team

  • Lead or contribute to service development, Quality improvement activities research and strategic planning

  • Participating in supervision and professional development

  • Work within multidisciplinary teams

  • Develop and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, and education resources

  • Maintain quality, safety and risk standards

 

 Key Selection Criteria

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian with Dietitian Australia

  • Sound clinical dietetics knowledge and patient focus

  • Leadership, supervision, and mentoring experience

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Experience in quality improvement and/or research activities

  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

  • Victorian driver license
