About the role
Grampians Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the organisation as Director Service Improvement. In this senior leadership role, you will:
- Lead service improvement, clinical planning, and models of service delivery across Grampians Health.
- Drive innovation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Champion co-design with consumers and ensure services evolve to meet emerging health needs.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with our vision and values.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Service Improvement team to deliver enhanced clinical outcomes.
- Apply proven improvement methodologies to drive change and innovation.
- Collaborate with executive and clinical leaders to ensure seamless, integrated care.
- Oversee operational budgets and ensure sustainability of services.
- Act as an escalation point for high-level clinical and operational planning and improvement challenges.
- Promote values-based leadership and a consumer-centered approach.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification and proven experience in healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Post-graduate qualifications in health services management, business analysis, service planning, improvement science, clinical redesign and/or research (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex strategic projects and change programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
