About the role
Grampians Health is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Services Engineer to join our Digital Health Services & Operations team, based in Maryborough.

This is a key frontline role responsible for delivering ICT support services to Maryborough and District Health Service (MDHS) and supporting its transition from Loddon Mallee Shared Services (LMSS) into the Grampians Rural Health Alliance (GRHA) IT environment.

You will play a critical role in ensuring continuity of services and supporting staff through a period of significant digital transformation. Working closely with the Grampians Health Service Desk, System Administrators, MDHS ICT staff, and external vendors, you will resolve support requests, assist with system migrations, and support users as platforms are aligned to GRHA standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site and remote ICT support across MDHS locations
  • Install, configure and support end-user devices and clinical workstations
  • Troubleshoot incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
  • Support device deployment, upgrades and lifecycle activities
  • Assist with system migration and integration into GRHA environments
  • Maintain asset records and technical documentation
  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused support to clinical and corporate staff

 

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, computer science, networking, or equivalent industry experience with recognised certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, VMware).
  • Experience in desktop support or field services roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, M365, Azure and endpoint technologies
  • Demonstrated expertise in network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and multi-site environments.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Ability to work independently in a regional, multi-site environment
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
