About the role
Grampians Health – Medicine & Continuing Care have an opportunity to join the Grampians Health Endocrinology team.
This role is based in Ballarat, with a view to providing outreach services in the future to Stawell and Horsham alongside our existing team including endocrinologists and diabetes nurse practitioners. The current opportunity involves participating in 3 clinics per week (General Diabetes and Endocrine).

About you
You will be suitable experienced Endocrinologist who is passionate about providing excellent care to patients with endocrine disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in endocrinology, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering comprehensive and personalised treatment plans. As an Endocrinologist at Grampians Health, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a significant impact on the lives of our patients.
The General Medicine Department
The General Medicine Team at Grampians Health are an integral part of the health care treating team and sits within the Hospitals East Directorate. The General Medical Unit has approximately 120 inpatients each day across two campuses and seven general medical units.
The Internal Medicine Service provides general medicine that also oversees gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology and obstetric medicine. In addition, there are independent respiratory, nephrology, oncology, haematology and cardiology units providing a weekday and on-call service. General Medicine is also well supported by geriatrics, palliative care and rehabilitation services as well as a hospital-in-the-home service that functions across our campuses.
