About the Role
The Quality Affiliate supports services across Grampians Health to strengthen consumer participation and help deliver safe, effective and person‑centred care. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, you will champion consumer engagement and embed consumer experience into everyday practice. Acting as a conduit between consumers and the organisation, you will advocate for their needs, support them to navigate their care journey, and ensure their voices inform service improvement and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Use the Riskman Feedback system to manage feedback items of compliments, complaints and enquiries.
- Build strong connections with Quality Partners to support an integrated, organisation‑wide approach to quality and consumer partnership.
- Provide assistance in safety and governance processes that guide continuous improvement across Grampians Health.
- Support the Consumer Partnerships & Experience workgroup, including stream services, practice improvement groups, programs, forums and committees.
- Assist with the completion of surveys and reporting, including consumer experience surveys and related documentation, and encourage consumer participation in service improvement activities.
Skills & Experience
- Qualification in a health or human services area is preferred
- AHPRA registration or relevant professional membership essential for those relevant staff
- Consumer and stakeholder engagement experience would be an advantage
- The ability to work under direction in a supportive, collaborative model with team members
- Experience, knowledge and ability in producing written reports and infographics
- Experience in developing and delivering education and training would be an advantage
