About the Role

Play a pivotal role in improving patient safety across regional Victoria by leading the implementation of the HIRAID® model of care throughout the Grampians Local Health Service Network. As part of Safer Care Victoria’s Safer Together Program, you’ll work closely with health services, clinicians and key stakeholders to embed best-practice assessment and escalation processes that support safer, more sustainable healthcare. This role offers the opportunity to influence system-wide change, build capability across the region and contribute to improved patient outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional rollout of the HIRAID® model of care
  • Build partnerships with participating health services and stakeholders
  • Coordinate training and implementation activities across campuses
  • Monitor progress and report against project objectives and outcomes
  • Support evaluation, sustainability and continuous improvement efforts
  • Align HIRAID® delivery with broader patient safety initiatives

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in healthcare project management or education
  • Knowledge of the NSQHS Communicating for Safety Standard
  • Understanding of emergency or urgent care service delivery
  • Strong reporting, data analysis and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to lead change across multiple organisations
