About the Role
We are seeking certificate qualified Health Care Workers to join our team, with a primary focus on supporting our 9 Residential Care Communities. There may be occasional opportunities to work in our Acute setting as a patient watch after 12 months of employment.
To remain active on our casual bank, a minimum of 4 shifts per fortnight is required. Due to the nature of casual employment, candidates must be living in the Ballarat region.

Application Requirements:
- Upload a cover letter and resume
- Upload a copy of your Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and transcript with your application. We are unable to consider Nursing Studies, Certificate III or IV in Disability or Community Services as equivalent.
- Be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees: 1 being your current direct manager and the other(s) an additional manager or supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate availability and accepting shifts based on availability
- Assisting residents to achieve their individual health and wellbeing goals
- Provide resident focused and holistic care under the supervision of the Registered & Enrolled Nurses
- Maintain accurate care plans and documentation
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff
- Provide resident focused service in relation to meals / food services
- Promote a positive and inclusive care environment
- Ability to function within a team
- Participate in annual performance reviews
- Commitment to ongoing mandatory education
Skills and Experience
- Successful completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant equivalent)
- Current HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Handling Practices certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred, but is not essential
