About the Role

Play a critical role in safely transitioning ICT services, infrastructure and digital solutions into operational use as part of the Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment (BBHR). The ICT Transition Manager leads the planning and delivery of ICT cutover, go‑live and early life support activities, ensuring business, clinical and technical readiness while maintaining continuity of services. Working closely with Digital Health, OCx, project teams and delivery partners, this role translates complex project outputs into a controlled, executable transition.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ICT transition, cutover and go‑live planning for BBHR
  • Coordinate multi‑team deployments and transition governance
  • Manage readiness, risks, dependencies and acceptance activities
  • Partner with service management on support and handover models
  • Coordinate early life support and transition to BAU
  • Align transition activities with change, training and communications

 

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in IT or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in ICT transition, cutover or operational readiness
  • Proven delivery of go‑live and service handover activities
  • Strong coordination across technical and operational teams
  • Clear communicator with strong risk and dependency management skills
