About the Role

Lead two frontline teams that play a critical role in the patient and staff experience at Grampians Health. As Manager, Switchboard & Admissions, you’ll oversee telephony, reception and elective admissions processes, ensuring timely responses, accurate data and a consistent, person‑centred customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to lead service improvement, support staff capability and drive operational excellence in a fast‑paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day operations of Switchboard and Admissions
  • Build rosters, capability, performance and team culture
  • Ensure accurate patient and encounter data capture
  • Drive service, process and technology improvements
  • Maintain clear procedures and service documentation
  • Deliver a high‑quality customer experience across services
 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience leading and developing a medium‑sized team
  • Strong process improvement and change management skills
  • Clear, adaptable written and verbal communication
  • Ability to perform in high‑volume, dynamic environments
  • Experience in switchboard, reception or call centre roles
