Medical Specialist - Oncology

About the Role
Join our dedicated Oncology team at Grampians Health, providing expert care across inpatient, outpatient, and chemotherapy day unit settings. This role focuses on outpatient and day oncology services, with occasional on-call and weekend roster participation. You may also provide outreach support to Horsham, Stawell, or Maryborough clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to oncology patients in inpatient, outpatient, and day unit settings.
- Participate in weekly BRICC outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Support and supervise junior medical staff, trainees, and medical students.
- Contribute to oncology research and training programs.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with GH policies and infection control standards.
- Foster a patient-centred approach and uphold GH values of inclusivity and excellence
Skills & Experience
- FRACP in Medical Oncology and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Strong clinical skills in oncology care and decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Interest and experience in oncological research.
