Permanent Full Time | 80 hours per fortnight including a monthly ADO

 

About the Role

Join the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service and provide evidence-based mental health assessment, early intervention and treatment for children and young people aged 0–15 years and their families. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll support children and families to achieve positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes.

 

In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive assessments, recovery-oriented care and risk management, while collaborating with families, community services and education providers. You'll also contribute to clinical supervision, professional development and continuous improvement across the service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments

  • Deliver evidence-based treatment and recovery-focused care

  • Provide risk assessment and safety planning

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Participate in clinical supervision and professional development

  • Partner with families and community services to support care

 

Skills & Experience

  • Eligible for clinician classification in your discipline

  • AHPRA registration or AASW membership (Social Work desirable)

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Commitment to recovery and strengths-based practice

  • Experience supporting children and families is desirable
