About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for early career Social Workers to join the 2026 Grampians Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (GMHWS) Allied Health Graduate Program. This structured, supportive program helps graduates build confidence, capability and real world mental health skills. You will rotate across two multidisciplinary settings and receive strong clinical supervision and professional development throughout the year.
• Build mental health capability in a supported graduate role
• Rotate across two clinical settings
• Work within multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver recovery oriented, person-centred care
• Receive structured supervision and education
Key Responsibilities
• Complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments
• Deliver evidence informed, recovery focused interventions
• Assess risk in line with legislation and policy
• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team
• Partner with consumers, families and carers
• Maintain accurate clinical records and data
Skills & Experience
• Degree in Social Work from an approved provider
• Eligible for AASW membership
• Interest in mental health and recovery oriented practice
• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
