About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work as an Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator within Grampians Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (GMHWS). This role provides leadership and strategic direction for discipline-specific clinical education, workforce development, research and quality activities. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will support evidence-informed occupational therapy practice and deliver education across the GMHWS workforce.
• Lead occupational therapy clinical education and training
• Support undergraduate and graduate programs
• Drive evidence-informed practice and quality improvement
• Build workforce capability across GMHWS
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educators and leaders
Key Responsibilities
• Implement Allied Health graduate and undergraduate programs
• Provide clinical supervision to occupational therapists and graduates
• Plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs
• Deliver occupational therapy and mental health training
• Support evidence-informed OT practice across GMHWS
Skills & Experience
• Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
• Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in mental health
• Advanced skills in assessment and recovery oriented practice
• Experience in clinical education and supervision
