About the Role
As a Workforce Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for People & Culture queries, offering clear and timely HR guidance to managers and staff. You will support a wide range of HR matters, ensure consistent application of policies across our dispersed workforce, and contribute to reporting, projects, and training. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building strong relationships and enhancing people management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, practical advice on HR processes, policies, awards, and agreements.
- Act as the first point of contact for Workforce Administration queries, escalating complex matters where required.
- Support managers with routine workforce issues including leave, attendance, rostering queries.
- Contribute to P&C projects, policy development, and training activities.
- Support the implementation of Enterprise Agreements, ensuring communication and compliance.
- Build effective relationships across the organisation, promoting trust, capability, and positive outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or working towards completion).
- Experience in a People & Culture or HR advisory role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, awards, agreements, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage a varied workload with initiative, accuracy, and sound judgement.
