Safety Link is currently recruiting for the following positions within our call centre team:

  1. Permanent Part Time - 32 hours per week Overnight & Day shifts | Monitor - Safety Link (One position available)

  2. Casual 24/7 Rotational on-call shifts (One position available)

 

About the Role

Join a dedicated team that plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of individuals across diverse sectors. You’ll provide essential support to a wide range of clients, including government-funded consumers, residents in retirement villages, community groups, private individuals living independently, and lone workers.

 

The part-time role offers the opportunity to work as part of a 24/7 team with responsibilities across both night and day shifts. You will work a rotating roster which includes weekends and public holidays. The casual role offers the opportunity to work as part of a 24/7 rotating roster, including day, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response: Coordinate with emergency services to ensure prompt and effective assistance.

  • Client and Family Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients and their nominated family members or representatives.

  • Support Clients: Offering general support to clients regarding their medical alarm needs.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to perform under pressure in a high-stakes environment.

  • Experience working in a Call Centre or similar service-oriented organisation.

  • Proficiency in using specialised software and systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

  • Proven capacity to collaborate with colleagues and support a positive team-oriented workplace

 

Key Selection Criteria

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – demonstrating empathy and care when dealing with the elderly or disabled (essential).

  • Rigorous attention to detail (essential).

  • Able to work in a demanding environment with targeted outcomes (essential)

  • Able to work shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster of day, afternoon, and night shifts including weekends (essential).

  • Experience working in a high-volume Call Centre or similar service-oriented organisation (preferred).
