About the Role
The Grampians Health Early Parenting Centre is seeking a permanent part time Patient Services Assistant to join the team. Offering day stay and residential (home stay) services, the EPC is a dedicated facility to support mothers, fathers, parents, carers, families and their children up to four years of age. This on-site role, based in Lucas, Ballarat, includes performing duties in areas such as cleaning and housekeeping, food and beverage, transport and couriering, ward support and/or patient support. Key Responsibilities
- To assist in the efficient provision of cleaning and food services within the Early Parenting Centre Services/ Environmental Services Department.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Adhere to Infection Control Principles and Cleaning Schedules as directed.
- Provide a resident focused service in relation to meals and food services
- To provide a customer focused service.
Skills & Experience
- Food Handling Certificate (HLTFS207C - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices)
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
