About the Role

Join the Grampians Health Pharmacy Department at our Ballarat campus and play a key role in delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services within a busy acute healthcare environment. This position is ideal for pharmacists with experience in an Australian dispensary setting who enjoy working in a fast-paced team.

 

You will support the timely supply of medications, contribute to day-to-day dispensary operations, and work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Depending on your experience, there may also be opportunities to support clinical pharmacy, compounding or oncology services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense inpatient, outpatient and discharge medications

  • Support efficient dispensary and pharmacy operations

  • Assist clinical or cancer services as required

  • Maintain legal, professional and departmental standards

  • Participate in weekend and on-call rosters once trained

  • Contribute to quality improvement and service development

 

Skills & Experience

  • Registered pharmacist with AHPRA

  • Experience in an Australian dispensary setting

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to prioritise work in a busy environment

  • Accurate work practices and attention to detail
