Permanent Part Time | 24 hours per week
About the Role
This is a hands on, hospital based role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, teamwork, and variety in their day. As the Pharmacy Inventory and Supply Assistant (Storeperson), you’ll be responsible for the smooth flow of pharmaceutical stock, from receiving and storing goods (including cold chain items) to maintaining inventory through our automated pharmacy robot (Rowa).
The role provides the opportunity to learn on the job, take ownership of critical supply functions, and contribute to efficient, patient centred care. If you enjoy working with systems, value attention to detail, and are eager to support a busy hospital pharmacy team, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and store incoming stock (including cold chain)
- Operate and maintain the Rowa robotic inventory system
- Rotate stock and manage expiries across pharmacy and wards
- Prepare and deliver orders to wards and external locations
- Support sterile compounding and manage archived records
- Maintain compliance with legal and safety standards
Skills & Experience
- Driver’s licence required
- Experience in Pharmacy or similar storeroom setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Basic computer and inventory systems skill
