About the Role

Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking Grade 2 and Grade 3 Physiotherapists for multiple positions across Care Communities, Women’s & Children’s Services, and Acute Inpatient Short Stay Unit. These roles offer the opportunity to deliver high-quality physiotherapy care in specialised settings, while contributing to service development and mentoring within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

 

 

Positions Available:

  • Care Communities
    Permanent Full-Time with ADO
    Starting January 2026 (flexible start date available)

    Fixed-Term Full-Time with ADO

  • Acute Inpatient Short Stay Unit (this is a Grade 3 role)
    Fixed-Term until 30/06/2027

Skills & Experience

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

  • Demonstrated clinical experience in relevant specialty areas.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred care.

  • Leadership experience including mentoring and service development (desirable).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and tailored treatment plans.

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions including exercise prescription and equipment recommendations.

  • Support and mentor junior staff and students.

  • Contribute to service development initiatives, clinical governance, and quality improvement.

  • Communicate effectively across teams and management levels.
