$52.70 – $60.21 depending on experience
Part Time Fixed term December 2025 – December 2026 (Parental Leave replacement) 
16 hours per week (additional hours may be considered for the right candidate)

 

About the role
Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and innovative team. This fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to work within our dedicated ICU team, where physiotherapy plays a vital role in early mobilisation, tracheostomy management, ventilator weaning, and acute rehabilitation.

In addition to delivering high-quality clinical care, this role includes providing leadership, supervision, and coordination of professional development initiatives to ensure contemporary clinical excellence across our acute inpatient service.


Skills & Experience

Qualifications

  • Registered as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency



Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • A minimum of seven years’ experience, including significant experience within the ICU field, including but not limited to early mobilisation, tracheostomy & ventilation management, rehabilitation and preferably a post-graduate qualification in the relevant clinical area of practice
  • Advanced knowledge of assessment treatment and management options for a broad range of clients requiring outpatient rehabilitation and a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, implement and review quality improvement activities, and positively influence change as required
