Physiotherapist Grade 3

$52.70 - $63.80 per hour + salary packaging | Physiotherapist - Grade 3 Care Communities/Gerontology | Grampians Health Ballarat

Part Time – 46 hours per fortnight (Permanent and Fixed Term Secondment available, flexible start date)

About the Role

Are you a passionate and experienced physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults? Grampians Health Ballarat are seeking a dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services across our Residential Aged Care Facilities and/or Subacute GEM ward.

In addition to clinical care, the role includes leadership responsibilities such as supervision, coordination of professional development, and service development to ensure contemporary clinical excellence across our Gerontology Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and care plans
• Deliver evidence-based treatment and interventions
• Lead falls prevention and risk management strategies
• Mentor junior staff and support student development
• Lead service development, governance and quality initiatives
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and leadership

Skills & Experience

• AHPRA registration as Physiotherapist
• Experience in aged care or gerontology settings
• Advanced clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in supervision or leadership
