About the Role
Grampians Health have a part time opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Grade 2 podiatrist to be a part of our team at Grampians Health - Ballarat Campus. You will be involved with, and supported in, providing high quality care as part of a well experienced team to patients across our organisation, including outpatient programs, inpatient services and care communities.
Our service includes a large High Risk Foot Clinic, community services, acute and sub-acute patient services, involvement with Hospital Without Walls, supporting Care Communities, and work as part of multidisciplinary teams.You will have an opportunity for continuous professional development and involvement in quality activities, as well as being supported through our clinical supervision framework.
A day in the life
- Provide podiatry services across a range of settings including the High Risk Foot Clinic, community services, acute and sub-acute care
- Support patients through Hospital Without Walls and Care Community programs to promote continuity of care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred assessment, treatment and intervention
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records
- Participate in clinical supervision, continuous professional development and quality improvement activities
- Work closely with patients, families and community agencies to support positive health outcomes
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) or equivalent
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability in providing a service to acute hospital, community outpatients and aged care settings
