Private Billing Officer

Permanent Full-Time | 80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO
About the Role
Grampians Health is seeking a detail‑focused Private Billing Officer to support private and compensable patient billing across the organisation. Reporting to the Manager – Private Billing, this role is key to ensuring accurate billing, revenue optimisation, and timely debt recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise private and compensable patient accounts.
- Follow up outstanding invoices and short payments
- Liaise with internal or external stakeholders
- Perform reconciliation
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in revenue, billing, or transactional services
- Experience in administration/customer service within health environment
